We are interested in enhancing the killing capacity of HIV-specific CD8 T cells by reengineering TCRs expressed by these cells. One of the approaches to do so, is to reprogram T cells at the stem cell level. As such, we use the CD34 Microbeads for stem cells purification from leukopacks.
Our lab has developed different mouse models to study the efficacy of therapeutic candidates against HIV. One of the models we have generated consists of injecting human hematopoietic stem cells into immunocompromised NSG mice. We later infect these mice with HIV to study different aspects of infection in vivo. We use this kit to purify human hematopoietic stem cells from blood.
