Whole Blood CD66b MicroBeads and the MultiMACS™ Cell24 Separator Plus with the Single-Column Adapter and Whole Blood Columns without washing step after labeling. Cells were fluorescently stained with CD15‑FITC, CD66b-PE, as well as CD45‑VioBlue
®
and analyzed by flow cytometry using the MACSQuant
®
Analyzer. Cells were triggered via CD45-VioBlue, cell debris and dead cells were excluded from the analysis based on scatter signals and propidium iodide fluorescence.

Detailed product information

Background information

StraightFrom
®
Whole Blood CD66b MicroBeads are developed for the positive selection of CD66b
+
cells directly from anticoagulated whole blood by using the autoMACS
®
Pro Separator, the MultiMACS™ Cell24 Separator Plus, or the Whole Blood Column Kit. No sample preparation is required, including density gradient centrifugation or erythrocyte lysis. CD66b is a 95–100 kDa glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-linked protein also known as CD67, CGM6, and NCA-95. It is expressed on neutrophils and eosinophils but not on basophils and lymphocytes.

Detailed separation procedure

Anticoagulated whole blood samples of 0.25–15 mL are labeled with StraightFrom
®
Whole Blood CD66b MicroBeads to be subsequently separated with the autoMACS
®
Pro Separator, the MultiMACS™ Cell24 Separator Plus, or using the Whole Blood Column Kit.
