Separators are magnetically attached to the MultiStand. The MultiStand can hold one μMACS, one thermoMACS, one OctoMACS, one QuadroMACS, up to four MiniMACS, or up to three MidiMACS Separators.

MACS MultiStand (130-042-303)

Our laboratory works with different cell populations from human and mouse in effort to study HIV pathogenesis and treatment. We often purify cell populations from human PBMC or mouse spleens, bone marrow, brain etc. We use Miltenyi technology for all of our cell population isolations including the appropriate beads and a multistand with magnets that allows labelled cells to be retained to the column via magnetic interactions, while the rest of the cells go through.
