Cells were incubated with an excess of purified unconjugated CD370 (CLEC9A) (REA976) antibody followed by staining with fluorochrome-conjugated antibodies of other known clones against the same marker. Based on the fluorescence signal obtained, the clones were identified as recognizing completely overlapping (++), partially overlapping (+), or completely different epitopes (-) of the marker.

Overview

Clone REA976 recognizes the human CD370 antigen, also known as C-type lectin domain family 9 member A (CLEC9A). CD370 is a type II transmembrane glycoprotein member of 241 amino acids with a predicted molecular mass of ~30 kDa. It is also known as DNGR-1 and is expressed on BDCA-3
+
myeloid dendritic cells from peripheral blood and lymphoid tissues. CD370 acts as a receptor for necrotic cells and plays an important role in cross-presentation.
Additional information: Clone REA976 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors.
