Pluripotent Stem Cell Research Travel Award 2023

Eligibility

The travel award is open to all scientists that work in the pluripotent stem cell field (induced pluripotent stem cells and embryonic stem cells) for which at least one Miltenyi Biotec product (either reagents or instruments) was used within their original research and are legal residents of the European Union, UK, Switzerland, Norway, Singapore, South Korea, Japan, North America, or Australia.

Deadlines and submission instructions 

All participants must have their abstract accepted for a poster or oral presentation at the ISSCR 2023 Annual Meeting prior to submitting for the Pluripotent Stem Cell Research Award. The accepted abstract for the Pluripotent Stem Cell Research Award must be submitted through the form below by May 15, 2023.

Abstract submission guidelines

1. Language: Abstracts must only be written in English.
2. Title: The title should be dynamic and conclusive, rather than descriptive.
3. Authors: Each author should be added to the submission form to ensure proper listing with first name, last name and institution/affiliation. Presenting authors must be listed accordingly. For example: Jane Doe - Miltenyi Biotec, John Doe - Miltenyi Biotec, etc.
4. The abstract should include:  
   a) The objectives of the investigation 
   b) Experimental methods used 
   c) Essential results 
   d) Conclusion
5. Additional relevant information, such as the corresponding poster or supporting data sheets, can be uploaded in a single pdf and attached to the abstract submission.
6. A list of Miltenyi Biotec products used in your research must also be included in the respective field for the submission.
    

Judging and award

All applications will be reviewed by three reviewers with the winner being announced via email by June 7, 2023. One selected winner will be awarded with fully funded travel, accommodation and registration fee (up to €2000).
