Specifications for Blood Dendritic Cell Phenotyping Cocktail Kit, anti-human

Overview

The Blood Dendritic Cell Enumeration Kit was developed for easy identification and enumeration of dendritic cells (DCs) and DC subsets in whole blood or PBMCs by flow cytometry. All reagents required for the analysis are included in the kit.
Applications of the kit include monitoring of peripheral blood DC frequency and number, for example, after hematopoietic stem cell mobilization
3
, or in the course of pathogenic infections, for example by HIV.
4
Furthermore, DC numbers were determined in patients with chronic graft versus host disease
5
, inflammatory bowel disease
6
, psoriatic arthritis and rheumatoid arthritis
10
, under long-term immunosuppression
8
, lymphoproliferative disease of granular lymphocytes
9
, or in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma, in order to analyze the immunosuppressive role of IL-10 on circulating dendritic cells
7
.
