Background information

MACS GMP Rapamycin is sufficient for the supplementation of 2000 mL TexMACS GMP Medium and used in expansion protocols for regulatory T cells (Treg cells). Rapamycin inhibits the expansion of conventional T cells and thereby enhances the proportion of expanded Treg cells in culture.

Applications

The manufacturing of a large number of Treg cells for clinical research can be achieved with the use of the MACS GMP ExpAct Treg Kit, TexMACS GMP Medium supplemented with MACS GMP Rapamycin and the CliniMACS CD25 enrichment procedure.
