June 7–10, 2022 | Turku, Finland
Join us at ELMI 2022 to meet and exchange with our experts in all areas of antibody labelling and sample preparation, the latest microscopy technologies, and data analysis. Join us at booth #11 to collaborate with this vivid community, we can’t wait to see you in Turku, Finland!
Join our booth and witness our innovative imaging and microscopy technologies for omni-dimensional analysis. From ultrahigh-content 2D analysis of multi-marker stained tissue, to the 3D structure visualization of full organs, and real-time 4D observation of living organisms. Our integrated and comprehensive workflow solutions make it possible!
Visualizing the three-dimensional architecture of complex organisms while analyzing biological processes in a whole-organ fashion are becoming the new standard in research. To provide a complete, smooth, and hassle-free 3D imaging workflow, Miltenyi Biotec covers this entire process offering solutions for sample staining, clearing, and imaging. In this workshop, we will guide you through the most important steps of sample preparation (including a live demonstration) and demonstrate how easily high quality 3D images of large samples can be acquired with our cutting-edge light sheet system, the UltraMicroscope Blaze™.

Group Leader and Global Product Manager, Miltenyi Biotec
Dr. Markus Habich is Group Leader and Global Product Manager for imaging reagents at Miltenyi Biotec. He gained several years of experience in fluorescence microscopy applications and antibody-based assays in academia and industry. After focusing on mitochondrial biogenesis of mammalian cells at the Institute of Biochemistry, University of Cologne, Germany, Markus joined Miltenyi Biotec in 2019. In his current position, he advances the broad product portfolios of 3D imaging validated antibodies, tissue clearing reagents, and ultrahigh-content imaging antibodies for the MACSima™ Imaging Platform.
Team Coordinator, Miltenyi Biotec
Kevin is Team Coordinator in the R&D department of neurobiology. He graduated from the University of Konstanz (Bachelor) and University of Cologne (Master) with a focus in neurobiology, imaging technology and image analysis. He joined Miltenyi in 2018 working on the implementation of new tools and applications for ultramicroscopy, including the development of a refined clearing procedure and set-up of antibody conjugates with improved features for 3D microscopy. Currently, his major interest includes the development of novel binders for advanced application in 3D imaging and new tools for deep 3D data analysis in an unobstructed environment.
Group Leader, Miltenyi Biotec
Lena, once Team Coordinator within the R&D department, has progressed to Group Leader for R&D Reagents at Miltenyi Biotec B.V & Co. KG. Her academic career includes her bachelor degree at the Center for Biophotonics Science and Technology out of UC Davis, master degree at Biomolecular Photonics at Universität Bielefeld, Germany, and her PhD on multispectral imaging and second harmonic generation in scanning laser optical tomography at Leibniz Universität, Hannover.
