Strategic Account Manager UK 


 

Based in the Greater London Area and reporting to the European Director of  Strategic Accounts, you will be responsible to develop and implement Miltenyi Biotec’s business goals into designated strategic accounts.

Your Tasks

  • Establishing strategic relationships with key contacts at the Director, VP and Executive levels to present and position MB technologies and create a value added, win-win and professional relationships.
  • Developing and executing a 3 to 5 year strategic vision for each strategic account that has both internal and client buy-in at the executive level.
  • Detailing and implementing annual objectives and projects to realize strategic account goals, including identification of internal resources and management of project deliverables and timelines using appropriate planning tools and processes.
  • Close communication and joint account planning with strategic account colleagues both within the region and in other regions to align activities across client, CMO and partner sites.
  • Regular reporting of goal progress and KPIs to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Managing and mapping of strategic accounts to identify and meet all key departments to leverage MB technologies/products/services. This Includes multi-site organizations, requiring interaction with various departments such as R&D, Process Development, Regulatory, RA/QA, cGMP manufacturing and Purchasing.
  • Serves as the primary contact for specific strategic accounts for initiating, negotiating and managing corporate contracts, supply agreements and regulatory/quality agreements.
  • Seeks to identify new business development opportunities within strategic accounts and passing them to the Business Development team. This includes commercial licenses, CRO work, platform and/or process development and CMO work.
  • Lead local account sales teams in implementation of strategic account plans, help local sales teams create and achieve relevant objectives.
  • Manages expenses within budgeted guidelines.

Your profile

  • Holds a BSc/MSc or PhD in Cell Biology, Immunology or a related field. An MBA would be a Plus.
  • You possess strong leadership skills, especially with an ability to motivate and coach team members and drive performance
  • You have a strong experience and knowledge of the life science market within pharma and biotech, having knowledge of the cell & Gene therapy field would be a plus.
  • You are willing to travel up to 50%; you possess a full driving license
