Clone REAL128 is an antibody fragment derived from the full CD25 antibody molecule. It displays no binding to Fc receptors. The recombinantly engineered antibody fragments are multimerized to form the REAlease Complex to bind markers with high avidity.
Clone REAL128 recognizes the human CD25 antigen, a 28 kDa glycoprotein also known as the low-affinity interleukin-2 receptor alpha chain (IL-2Rα). The receptor plays a role in the regulation of immune tolerance by controlling regulatory T cells activity. CD25 is expressed on activated T and B cells, on macrophages, and on a subset of non-activated CD4
+
regulatory T cells.
The REAlease Kits consist of the respective fluorochrome-conjugated REAlease Complexes and the REAlease Support Kit for removal of the REAlease Complexes and optional relabeling with different fluorochrome-conjugated REAlease Complexes.
