Clone REA1111 recognizes the human CD93 antigen, also known as C1qRp, which is a 120 kDa heavily O-glycosylated protein. It is expressed on myeloid cells, platelets, endothelial cells, and immature dendritic cells whereas mature dendritic cells show weak to negative CD93 expression. C1qRp is involved in regulation of phagocytic activity, macrophage activation, and cell-cell adhesion.
Additional information: Clone REA1111 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors.
