CD218a (IL-18Rα) antibodies, mouse

CD218a (IL-18Rα) antibodies, mouse

Clone: REA947 | Dilution: 1:50
Clone REA947 recognizes the mouse CD218a antigen, also known as interleukin-18 receptor alpha (IL-18Rα). CD218a, a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily, is a subunit of the heterodimeric receptor complex of alpha- and beta-chains for the pleiotropic proinflammatory IL-18 cytokine. IL-18 belongs to the IL-1 superfamily and is expressed by monocytes, macrophages, epithelial cells, and keratinocytes. CD218a (IL-18Rα) is found on Tʜ1 cells, subsets of NK cells, and granulocytes. IL-18 plays a role in induction of inflammatory mediators, regulation of the cytotoxic activity of NK and T cells, and differentiation and activation of Tʜ1 and Tʜ2 cells.
Additional information: Clone REA947 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors.
