Clone REA381 recognizes the mouse IFN-γ receptor β chain antigen, a type 1 transmembrane protein also known as IFN-γ accessory factor 1 (AF-1). The IFN-γR β chain pairs with CD119 to form the IFN-γ receptor. It is expressed at low levels on T and B cells, NK cells, monocytes, macrophages, and fibroblasts. IFN-γ induces several biologic effects in target cells, including antiviral and antiproliferative responses, expression of major histocompatibility complex and of Fc receptor genes, and immunoglobulin class switching.
Additional information: Clone REA381 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors.
