Specifications for P2X7R Antibody, anti-mouse, REAfinity™

Overview

Clone REA875 recognizes the mouse P2X7R antigen, also known as P2RX7 or P2X7 (P2X purinoceptor 7), which is a receptor for ATP that acts as a ligand-gated ion channel. P2X7R is involved in different inflammatory, immune, neurologic, and musculoskeletal disorders and is able to modulate LPS-induced macrophage production of inflammatory mediators. P2X7R is found on cells of the immune system, e.g., mast cells, microglia, macrophages, T cells, and B cells, in uterine endometrium, retina, and in the central and peripheral nervous systems.
Additional information: Clone REA875 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors.
