GMP CD25 Fluorescent Antibodies

Overview

MACS
®
GMP CD25 Fluorescent Antibodies consist of a mouse monoclonal antibody against the human CD25 antigen conjugated to a fluorochrome. They are developed for flow cytometric identification and flow cytometric sorting of CD25 positive cells.
MACS GMP CD25-PE-Biotin can further more be used for a magnetic pre-enrichment step using the CliniMACS
®
Anti-Biotin Product Line.

Alternative names

IL-2Rα, p55, Tac

Detailed product information

Background information

The CD25 antibody (clone 3G10) recognizes a 55 kDa glycoprotein also known as the low-affinity interleukin-2 receptor alpha chain (IL-2Rα). This molecule reveals three epitope regions: A, B, and C. Clone 3G10 recognizes epitope region A.
The CD25 antigen is expressed on activated T and B cells, on macrophages, and on a subset of non-activated CD4-positive regulatory T cells.

Applications

MACS GMP CD25 Fluorescent Antibodies are for identification of CD25 positive cells by flow cytometry as well as cell enrichment by flow cytometric sorting. MACS GMP CD25-PE-Biotin can furthermore be used for a magnetic pre-enrichment step using the CliniMACS Anti-Bioin Product Line.
