Clone REAL644 is an antibody fragment derived from the full Hepatocyte antibody molecule. It displays no binding to Fc receptors. The recombinantly engineered antibody fragments are multimerized to form the REAdye_lease Complex to bind markers with high avidity.
Clone REAL644 recognizes the Hepatocyte Specific Antigen, also known as HSA or Hep-Par1. Hepatocyte has been detected in the majority of hepatocellular carcinomas, cholangiocarcinoma and hepatoblastomas and in a subset of gastric carcinoma. It is expressed in both benign and malignant adult and fetal liver derived tissues and helps to differentiate hepatocellular carcinomas from adenocarcinomas, either primary or metastatic.
For removal of REAdye_lease fluorochromes for optional relabeling with different fluorochrome-conjugated REAdye_lease antibodies use the REAlease Support Kit (130-120-675).
