Specifications for Cytokeratin Antibody, anti-human, REAdye_lease™

Overview

Clone REAL648 is an antibody fragment derived from the full Cytokeratin antibody molecule. It displays no binding to Fc receptors. The recombinantly engineered antibody fragments are multimerized to form the REAdye_lease Complex to bind markers with high avidity.
Clone REAL648 recognizes Pan-Cytokeratin. Cytokeratins are polypeptides with keratin-containing intermediate filaments, which ensure form stability and cohesiveness. Keratins play a critical role in mechanical stability and integrity of epithelial cells and tissues, have regulatory functions and are involved in intracellular signaling pathways.
Anti-Cytokeratin detects cytokeratins which are expressed in normal and abnormal human tissues in epithelial cells and carcinomas. Anti-Cytokeratin is used to differentiate between epithelial carcinoma and non-epithelial malignancies.
For removal of REAdye_lease fluorochromes for optional relabeling with different fluorochrome-conjugated REAdye_lease antibodies use the REAlease Support Kit (130-120-675).
