Specifications for β-Actin Antibody, anti-human, REAdye_lease™

Overview

Clone REAL571 is an antibody fragment derived from the full β-Actin antibody molecule. It displays no binding to Fc receptors. The recombinantly engineered antibody fragments are multimerized to form the REAdye_lease Complex to bind markers with high avidity.
Clone REAL571 recognizes β-Actin, which belongs to the actin family of highly conserved globular multi-functional proteins that play a role in various types of cell motility. They are able to form microfilaments and are found in all eukaryotic cells. β-Actin is a nonmuscle cytoskeletal actin and exists in most cell types as a component of the cytoskeleton and as a mediator of internal cell motility. Mutatations in this gene may be associated with diffuse large B- cell lymphoma.
For removal of REAdye_lease fluorochromes for optional relabeling with different fluorochrome-conjugated REAdye_lease antibodies use the REAlease Support Kit (130-120-675).
