Specifications for Anti-Fibroblast MicroBeads, human

Overview

Anti-Fibroblast MicroBeads have been developed for the positive selection or depletion of human fibroblasts.

Detailed product information

Background information

Anti-Fibroblast MicroBeads are based on a fibroblast-specific antigen.
1
This antigen is also known to be expressed on mesenchymal stem cells, also known as mesenchymal stromal cells, (MSCs) in the bone marrow.
2–4

Applications

  • Depletion of human fibroblasts that are used as feeder cells to support the growth of ES or iPS cells
  • Depletion of fibroblasts after reprogramming5
  • Isolation of MSCs from bone marrow aspirate
  • Removal of fibroblastic cells from bone marrow cultures
  • Positive selection of fibroblasts from cell mixtures

Columns

For positive selection: MS, LS, XS, or autoMACS
®
Columns. For depletion: LD, D, or autoMACS Columns.
