Specifications for α-Tubulin Antibody, anti-human, REAfinity™

Overview

Clone REA1136 recognizes the human, mouse and rat alpha chain of Tubulin (a Tubulin), a heterodimer conisting of homologous but not identical a and b tubulin subunits. Tubulin is a member of the tubulin superfamily, which consists of six members (a, b, g, d, e and z tubulins). Tubulin is expressed by nearly all eukaryotic cells and is an essential part of microtubules, which are involved in a variety of cellular processes. They form the cytoskeleton and play a role in mitosis and meiosis.
Additional information: Clone REA1136 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors.
