Untouched B and T lymphocytes can be isolated in parallel with an easy two step protocol at room temperature. Background information

CDC (complement dependent cytotoxicity) research requires the isolation of lymphocyte subpopulations. Enrichment of cells for these assays can be exceedingly time consuming or result in co-enrichment of unwanted or non-viable cells. The MACSprep™ HLA B/T Cell Isolation Kit allows the fast and easy isolation of B and T lymphocytes directly from samples without density gradient centrifugation or erythrocyte lysis.

Detailed separation procedure

The MACSprep™ HLA B/T Cell Isolation Kit allows the untouched isolation of human B and T lymphocytes from anticoagulated whole blood or spleen cell suspensions. Non-target cells are removed by immunomagnetic depletion while erythrocytes are sedimented, yielding viable untouched target cells of high purity.

Downstream applications

Isolated cells are immediately ready for downstream HLA research.
