Cells were incubated with an excess of purified unconjugated CD275 (B7-H2) (MIH12) antibody followed by staining with fluorochrome-conjugated antibodies of other known clones against the same marker. Based on the fluorescence signal obtained, the clones were identified as recognizing completely overlapping (++), partially overlapping (+), or completely different epitopes (-) of the marker.

Specifications for CD275 (B7-H2) Antibody, anti-human

Overview

Clone MIH12 recognizes CD275 (B7-H2, ICOSL, GL50), a member of the B7 family of costimulatory molecules involved in regulating T cell activation and effector functions. It belongs to Ig superfamily and has a predicted molecular weight of 40 kDa. CD275 is a ligand of inducible costimulator (ICOS) expressed on activated T cells. ICOS mediated costimulation promotes T-helper cell differentiation via Tʜ2 cytokine production such as IL-10 and IL-4. Human CD275 is expressed on B cells, dendritic cells, endothelial cells, renal tubular epithelial cells, activated monocytes, and human airway epithelial cells.
