Anti-FcεRIα antibodies – functional grade, human

Clone CRA1 detects the alpha subunit of the human high-affinity Fc receptor for IgE. The receptor is composed of one alpha-, one beta-, and two disulfid-linked gamma subunits, of which the alpha subunit binds IgE. FcεRIα is expressed on mast and basophilic cells and is upregulated in the presence of IgE, and is found on a subset of blood dendritic cells. The FcεRI complex plays an important role in triggering IgE-mediated allergic reactions. Clone CRA1 does not inhibit binding of IgE, it induces mast cell activation, followed by histamin release.


This pure – functional grade antibody is suited for cell culture functional assays, for example, blocking of receptor-ligand binding.
