Anti-DC (OX62) MicroBeads, rat

Anti-DC (OX62) MicroBeads have been developed for the positive selection or depletion of OX62
dendritic cells (DCs) from blood, lymphoid, and non-lymphoid tissue.

Background information

The monoclonal antibody OX62 recognizes the integrin αE2 subunit (molecular mass: 150 kDa). OX62 is expressed on the
and the CD4
subset of dendritic cells but not on plasmacytoid dendritic cells in lymphoid tissue or on epidermal Langerhans cells. OX62 is also found on a subpopulation of epidermal TCRα/β
or TCRγ/δ
T cells and on a subset of folliculo-stellate-like (S100
) cells in the anterior pituitary. It is not expressed on macrophages.

Downstream applications

Isolated OX62
dendritic cells were used, for example, for analysis of the differential phenotype, function, and migration of dendritic cell subsets.
