Clone REA868 recognizes the human CELSR3 antigen, a seven-transmembrane receptor protein, which contains an extended N-terminal extracellular region and a C-terminal cytoplasmic domain. CELSR3 belongs to the G-protein–coupled receptors (GPCR) family and to the flamingo subfamily, which is a part of the cadherin superfamily consisting of nonclassic-type cadherins, which does not interact with catenins. CELSR3 may plays a role in the regulation of contact-mediated communication. In tumor stellate cells CELSR3 were found to be selectively up-regulated.
Additional information: Clone REA868 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors.
