Clone REAL563 is an antibody fragment derived from the full Pan-Actin antibody molecule. It displays no binding to Fc receptors. The recombinantly engineered antibody fragments are multimerized to form the REAdye_lease Complex to bind markers with high avidity.
Clone REAL563 recognizes Pan-Actin, which is the major component of the cytoskeleton. Actin is a family of globular multi-functional proteins that form microfilaments that are essential components of the eukaryotic cytoskeleton. It is involved in many processes, e.g. in the establishment and maintenance of cell junctions and cell shape, muscle contraction, cell motility, cell division and cytokinesis, vesicle and organelle movement, and cell signaling. Mutations of this gene lead to several illnesses and diseases.
For removal of REAdye_lease fluorochromes for optional relabeling with different fluorochrome-conjugated REAdye_lease antibodies use the REAlease Support Kit (130-120-675).
