Specifications for CD22 Antibody, anti-mouse

Overview

The monoclonal antibody Cy34.1 recognizes the 150 kDa B cell–restricted glycoprotein CD22 on mice strains having the Lyb-8.2 alloantigen, e.g., A, BALB/c, CBA, C3H/He, C57BL, C57L, C58, SJL, SWR. Lyb-8.2 is expressed at mature levels on all B cell subsets. In bone marrow, CD22 is not detectable on pro–B cells, pre–B cells, and emerging IgM
+
B cells. CD22 plays a strong role in cell interactions and B cell activation.

Alternative names

Lyb-8, BL-CAM, SIGLEC-2
