Overview

Clone REAL249 is an antibody fragment derived from the full CD200R3 antibody molecule. It displays no binding to Fc receptors. The recombinantly engineered antibody fragments are multimerized to form the REAlease Complex to bind markers with high avidity.
Clone REAL249 recognizes the human CD200R3 antigen. CD200R is an approximately 33 kDa single-pass type I membrane-protein which is a disulfide-linked dimer on the cell surface. It is reported, that the four different isoforms of CD200R (CD200R1, CD200R2, CD200R3, CD200R4) bind to CD200 (OX-2) as ligand. CD200 is primarily expressed on myeloid cells but also expressed on T and B lymphocytes. The combination of CD200R and CD200 inhibits mast cell degranulation, promotes macrophage activation, and decreases the activation of lymphocytes.
The REAlease Kits consist of the respective fluorochrome-conjugated REAlease Complexes and the REAlease Support Kit for removal of the REAlease Complexes and optional relabeling with different fluorochrome-conjugated REAlease Complexes.
