Overview

The monoclonal antibody SN13 reacts with human CD1b, a 45 kDa member of the CD1 family of transmembrane glycoproteins, which are structurally related to the MHC proteins and form heterodimers with beta-2-microglobulin. Like CD1a and CD1c, CD1b is expressed on most professional antigen presenting cells, on a subset of B cells, and on cortical thymocytes.
