Extended validation for CD93 Antibody, anti-human

Sensitivity

Fixation data
To provide an indication on how an antibody performs after fixation of cells, in-house data on staining results before and after fixation with 3.7% formaldehyde using Miltenyi Biotec antibodies are provided. Different experimental settings may lead to different results.
No fixation
Post fixation
View details
Comparison of staining pattern on non-fixed and fixed cells using CD93 (VIMD2). The performance of the antibody after fixation was tested by comparing the staining pattern on fresh (no fixation) versus fixed (post fixation) cells.

Specifications for CD93 Antibody, anti-human

Overview

The monoclonal antibody VIMD2 reacts with human CD93, also known as C1qRp, which is a 120 kDa heavily O-glycosylated protein. It is expressed on myeloid cells, platelets, endothelial cells, and immature dendritic cells whereas mature dendritic cells show weak to negative CD93 expression. C1qRp is involved in regulation of phagocytic activity, macrophage activation, and cell-cell adhesion.
