Anti-TIM-3 antibodies, mouse

Anti-TIM-3 antibodies, mouse

Clone: REA602 | Dilution: 1:10
Clone REA602 reacts with the mouse TIM-3 antigen, which is a Tʜ1-specific cell surface protein expressed by differentiated CD4
Tʜ1 and CD8
Tc1 cells and macrophages. It is absent on CD4
Tʜ2 and CD8
Tc2 cells. TIM-3 has been proposed to inhibit Tʜ1-mediated immune responses. TIM-3 absence enhances the severity of experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis in mice. The interaction of TIM-3 and galectin-9 induces apoptosis of Tʜ1 cells.
Additional information: Clone REA602 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors.
