Mo-DC Generation Toolbox, human

The Mo-DC Generation Toolbox comprises reagents for magnetic cell separation of CD14
monocytes and the subsequent differentiation and maturation to monocyte-derived dendritic cells (DCs). Large numbers of Mo-DCs can be generated
ex vivo
from purified monocytes (easily isolated from bone marrow, cord blood, peripheral blood, or peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs)). The excellent purity and recovery of selected monocytes offer a standardized and consistent cell source. The Mo-DC Differentiation Medium contains interleukin-4/GM-CSF. Mo-DCs can easily be matured  with the premium grade TNF-α provided with the kit. The lot-to-lot consistency and standardized protocol we offer enable for effective differentiation of immature and mature Mo-DCs.

Downstream applications

For the isolation of monocytes from PBMCs and subsequent differentiation of immature and mature monocyte-derived dendritic cells
in vitro
. Common uses for Mo-DCs are cellular vaccine development, antigen-specific T cell stimulation, as well as toxicity and hypersensitivity testing.
