The team Business Applications is responsible for the delivery and support of central IT applications for our business units. We ensure that our colleagues, for example from research or the production department, can use IT systems and applications in the best possible way.

In our team IT Governance, Risk and Compliance, we monitor conformity with security standards as well as legal and internal regulations for our IT systems. In doing so, we operate in a complex area of interaction between regulatory and security-related requirements and the operative practices of IT.  

In addition to IT security and compliance, we deal with Computer System Validation for corporate IT systems. We not only create awareness but also provide training on these topics, and define principles of dealing with IT. In our role, we have many touchpoints not only within the entire IT department, but also with the management board, the works council and our legal department. 

We constantly face the challenge to make compliance and security mutually "liveable" and to develop and implement practical measures by following a risk-based approach. Sounds exciting? Then come join our team!

The SAP systems are an essential part of the entire value chain at Miltenyi Biotec.
