Background information

The MC Antibody Cocktails further simplify the flow cytometric evaluation of cells separated by MACS® Technology. The MC CD14 Monocyte Cocktail is designed to enable easy and rapid evaluation of MACS Separations using either CD14 MicroBeads, human or the Monocyte Isolation Kit II, human. The antibody cocktail is optimized for separation control using the MACSQuant® Analyzer, enabling automated gating and analysis. Manual gating on other flow cytometers is also easily possible. MC CD14 Monocyte cocktail consists of CD14 and CD15 antibodies for identification of monocytes and exclusion of unwanted cells. In addition, a VioBlue-conjugated CD45 antibody is included as a trigger to restrict analysis to leukocytes. VioBlue requires the use of a violet laser.
