Specifications for Carboxypeptidase A1 Antibody, anti-human, REAdye_lease™

Overview

Clone REAL1385 is an antibody fragment derived from the full Carboxypeptidase A1 antibody molecule. It displays no binding to Fc receptors. The recombinantly engineered antibody fragments are multimerized to form the REAdye_lease Complex to bind markers with high avidity.
Clone REAL1385 recognizes the zinc metalloprotease Carboxypeptidase A1, encoded by the CPA1 gene and belongs to the peptidase M14 family. It is a monomeric pancreatic exopeptidase, that catalyzes the release of a C-terminal amino acid, the conversion of leukotriene C4 to leukotriene F4 and is involved in zymogen inhibition. CPA1 is associated with pancreatic cancer susceptibility and implicate ER stress in pancreatic acinar cells in pancreatic cancer development.
For removal of REAdye_lease fluorochromes for optional relabeling with different fluorochrome-conjugated REAdye_lease antibodies use the REAlease Support Kit (130-120-675).
