We are excited to meet you at Focus on Microscopy (FOM) 2022!
Join us at FOM 2022, a renowned, long-standing meeting focused on the latest innovations and developments in microscopy and their application in biology, medicine, and material sciences.
Take the chance to meet us at our virtual booth to gain insight into our innovative imaging solutions and make sure to log on for our scientific talk to hear about our newly launched multiphoton microscope, the TriM Scope™ Matrix!
Speaker: Bernd Müller-Zülow, LaVision BioTec GmbH - A Miltenyi Biotec Company
Abstract and speaker information
LaVision BioTec, a Miltenyi Biotec company, launched its first multiphoton microscope system in 2002 under the name TriM Scope. The second generation proved to be a very versatile and successful microscope for users. In this presentation, the further developments of the new TriM Scope Matrix will be discussed, taking into account the specific applications of today's intravital microscopy. Key aspects include the combination of multiple laser lines, the improvement of the scanner and detector design, and the flexibility of adapting the microscope to the many models of intravital microscopy. Miltenyi Biotec’s sales and service supports the new Matrix system worldwide.
Dr. Bernd Müller-Zülow received his degree in Physical Chemistry from the Technical University of Braunschweig in 1993. He then worked as an applications scientist and manager for Thermomicroscopes (TopoMetrix) in Germany and the USA. He joined the newly formed LaVision BioTec in 2001 and developed his special interest in modern microscopy techniques for biomedical research. Following the acquisition of LaVision BioTec in 2018 he is now working as Sales Manager for the Export and Asia Divisions of Miltenyi Biotec and loves to share his technical expertise.
Laying the foundation to understand tumor microenvironment (TME) complexity, see how researchers use technologies like ultra high content imaging or 3D visualization by light sheet microscopy to dive deep into limited sample material and define new targets for immunotherapies.
