Human BMP-10

Human BMP-10

BMP stands for bone morphogenetic protein. Human BMP-10 is a recombinant protein optimized for use in cell culture, differentiation studies, and functional assays.

Applications

Human BMP-10 can be used for a variety of applications, including:
  • Proliferation of cardiomyocytes.
  • Migration and proliferation of dermal endothelial cells.

Background information

Bone morphogenetic protein 10 (BMP-10) is a member of the bone morphogenetic protein family, which is part of the TGF-β superfamily. BMP-10 plays an important role in the development of the embryonic heart. It can signal through various receptor complexes inducing SMAD signaling and other processes.

Quality description

Research-grade
cytokines are suitable for a wide variety of cell culture applications. They are sterile-filtered prior to lyophilization. Generally, endotoxin levels are <0.1 ng/μg (<1 EU/μg), and purities are >95%. The biological activity is tested in appropriate bioassays.
