Overview

Clone REAL1135 is an antibody fragment derived from the full CD247 (CD3ζ) antibody molecule. It displays no binding to Fc receptors. The recombinantly engineered antibody fragments are multimerized to form the REAdye_lease Complex to bind markers with high avidity.
Clone REAL1135 recognizes the CD247 (CD3ζ) glycoprotein, which is also known as T-cell surface glyocoprotein CD3 zeta chain. CD247 is part of the TCR-CD3 complex and is involved in T cell differentiation and in the regulation of adaptive immune response by coupling antigen recognition to several intracellular signal-transduction pathways. Mutations, leading to a low expression of CD247 (CD3ζ), results in an impaired activation of T cells and in an insufficient immune response.
For removal of REAdye_lease fluorochromes for optional relabeling with different fluorochrome-conjugated REAdye_lease antibodies use the REAlease Support Kit (130-120-675).
