Background information

StemMACS™ IWR-1-endo is a potent inhibitor of the Wnt signaling pathway. It stabilizes the Axin-scaffolded destruction complex, thereby promoting β-catenin phosphorylation and degradation. In cell culture reporter assays IWR-1-endo inhibits Wnt/β-catenin signaling with an IC50 value of 180 nM.
