Clone REA1225 recognizes the human CD355 protein, a class I–restricted T cell–associated molecule (CRTAM). It is expressed on activated class I MHC restricted T cells, including CD8
+
T cells and NKT cells and binds nectin-like protein 2 (NecI2). The binding of CRTAM and NecI2 triggers cytotoxity of NK cells and IFN-γ secretion by CD8
+
T cells.
Additional information: Clone REA1225 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors.
