APC-Vio770™ is a tandem dye, like APC-Cy™7 or APC-H7, that exploits the principle of fluorescence-resonance-energytransfer (FRET) allowing for large Stokes shifts between the absorbed energy of a fluorescence donor (APC) and the emission wavelength of a suitable acceptor (Vio770). Upon excitation by the red laser (635 nm), the dye emits its energy at 775 nm, and is detected by the MACSQuant Analyzer in the R2 channel (750 LP). APC-Vio770 has bright fluorescence in the near-infrared region with minimal spillover into other channels, making it an ideal dye for complex multiparameter cell analysis .
