Killer cell lectin-like receptor G1 (KLRG1) is a homodimeric type II transmembrane glycoprotein of 30-38 kDa subunits. The protein is the mouse homolog of the rat mast cell functionassociated antigen (MAFA) and is expressed on a subset of NK cells and T cells. Several members of the cadherin family can interact with KLRG1 leading to inhibition of NK cell and T cell effector functions.
C57Bl/6 splenocytes were stained with Anti-KLRG1 antibodies as well as with Anti-NK1.1 antibodies. Cells were analyzed by flow cytometry using the MACSQuant® Analyzer. Cell debris and dead cells were excluded from the analysis based on scatter signals and propidium iodide fluorescence.
