| Stemfect™ 2.0-mESC DNA Transfection Reagent |
|
| Description |
Stemfect™ 2.0-mESC DNA Transfection Reagent is a polymer-based transfection reagent specifically designed for in vitro DNA transfection of mouse embryonic stem (mES) cells. This reagent has demonstrated low cytotoxicity and 5X improved efficiency over leading transfection reagents in functional assays. The specificity of Stemfect™ 2.0-mESC DNA Transfection Reagent makes it a desirable alternative to broad spectrum reagents for transfecting mES cells. In addition, transfections with this reagent can be used in media containing serum and antibiotics.
Stemfect™ 2.0-mESC DNA Transfection Reagent belongs to a beta-amino ester polymer family, developed in the lab of Dr. Daniel Anderson at MIT, with unique structural features which aid in plasmid complexation, cellular entry, and intracellular distribution1-6. |
