| Description |
| Stemgent® Oct4-GFP mouse embryonic fibroblasts (MEF) harbor a GFP reporter gene downstream of exon 5 of the endogenous Oct4 locus. Upregulation of the endogenous Oct4 pluripotency locus results in expression of GFP. The Stemgent® Oct4-GFP MEF (P2) reprogramming control cell line was developed in the lab of Rudolf Jaenisch, M.D., at the Whitehead Institute at MIT. |

| GFP expression can be used to monitor the pluripotency of induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) colonies resulting from the cellular reprogramming of this control cell line |
