| Description |
| Stemolecule™ Pyrintegrin is a selective, cell permeable, small molecule that was identified to enhance the survival of human embryonic stem cells (hESCs)1. While both pyrintegrin and thiazovivin were identified using the same high-throughput chemical screen, it appears that these two molecules have different biological targets. Pyrintegrin has no effect on ROCK activity nor does pyrintegrin stabilize E-cadherin in hESCs after trypsinization as thiazovivin does1. Since the mechanism of action of pyrintegrin is different than inhibitors of the ROCK pathway, it may act synergistically with these molecules to further enhance reprogramming. |
