| Description |
| Stemolecule™ BI-D1870 is a highly specific small molecule inhibitor of Ribosomal S6 Kinase (RSK1, RSK2, RSK3 and RSK4 isoforms), which acts as an ATP-competitive inhibitor of the N-terminal AGC kinase domain of RSK. It has been suggested that RSK phosphorylates a large number of cellular substrates and plays an important role in promoting cell growth and survival. BI-D1870 does not inhibit a large number of other kinases1. Since BI-D1870 inhibits a potential positive effector of cell growth and survival, Stemolecule™ BI-D1870 may be useful in studies in these areas. |
