| Stemolecule™ Dexamethasone |
|
| Description |
| Stemolecule™ Dexamethasone is a glucocorticoid receptor agonist known to affect inflammatory responses, cellular proliferation, and differentiation in target tissues1. Dexamethasone in combination with other small molecules, such as ascorbic acid, β-glycerophosphate, isobutylmethylxanthine or peroxisome proliferator activated receptor-gamma agonists has been widely used to modulate osteogenesis or adipogenesis of mesenchymal stem cells under specific conditions2,3. Differentiation of cord blood stem cell derived-dendritic cell (DC) precursors into immature DCs is inhibited by Dexamethasone4. Transdifferentiation of pancreatic cells into hepatocytes can be accomplished with dexamethasone treatment5. |
