| Description |
CD16 MicroBeads have been developed for the positive selection or depletion of NK cells from rhesus monkey PBMCs. CD16 is expressed on the majority of rhesus monkey NK cells1 and on a subset of monocytes. Monocytes can be depleted prior to separation using CD56 MicroBeads or CD14 MicroBeads, respectively. |

Downstream applications CD16+ NK cells can, for example, be used for studies on NK cell cytotoxicity or signal transduction. |

| Positive selection of CD16+ NK cells from rhesus monkey PBMCs using CD16 MicroBeads, a MiniMACS™ Separator, and an MS Column. As some rhesus monkey monocytes express CD16, monocytes1 as well as a minor subset of CD56+ NK cells2 were depleted by using CD56 MicroBeads prior to positive selection of CD16+ cells. |
