Background information
The kit contains a cocktail of biotinylated antibodies and Anti-Biotin MicroBeads for depletion of non-CD4+ T cells and CD25 MicroBeads for subsequent positive selection of the CD4+CD25+ cells.
The role in the modulation of immune responses has been widely investigated for rodent and human CD4+CD25+ regulatory T cells. A population of CD4+CD25+ regulatory T cells with a phenotype and function similar to the murine and human cells has also been described in non-human primates.
Downstream applications
CD4+CD25+ regulatory T cells isolated with the CD4+CD25+ Regulatory T Cell Isolation Kit can be used for further phenotypical and functional characterization. |
