Background information
Non-CD8+ T cells are indirectly magnetically labeled by using a cocktail of biotin-conjugated antibodies and Anti-Biotin MicroBeads. Highly pure untouched CD8+ T cells are obtained by depletion of the magnetically labeled cells.
Downstream applications
T cells isolated with the CD8+ T Cell Isolation Kit are used when direct labeling of T cell surface molecules could interfere with downstream applications, e.g., in studies on cytotoxic T cell activation.
Untouched CD8+ T cells may also be used for further isolation of specific cytotoxic T cell subsets. |
